Ganesh is an Indian actor who is famous for his work in the Kannada film industry. He was born on 2 July 1980 (Age 44 Years; in 2024) in Adakamaranahalli, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. His Nicknames is Golden Star Ganesh, Gani. He did schooling at the Basaveshwara English School, Nelamangala, Bangalore and Standard English School, Dasarahalli, Bangalore.

Ganesh was born to the Hindu family. His Father is from Nepal and he belongs to the Indian Gorkha community while his mother belongs to Vokkaliga caste.
His father Kishan Bal is Nepali origin and his mom is Sulochana. Ganesh has a two brother Umesh, and Mahesh, who is also an actor in Kannada cinema.

Career

Ganesh started his career as an actor in 2002. His First television series was a Comedy Time. Next, he acted in the TV serials like “Maleyali Jotheyali Special Comedy Time,” and “Super Minute,”. He made his acting debut in a lead role in 2006 with the Kannada Film “Chellata”. Next, he featured in “Mungaru Male”(2006) which proved to be a turning point of his career, The film was a huge success and also earned him his first Filmfare as Best Actor.
Thereafter, Abraham has appeared in many successful movies including “Gaalipata” (2008), “Maleyali Jotheyali” (2009), “Shyloo” (2011), “ Sravani Subramanya” (2013), “Style King” (2016), “Mungaru Male 2” (2015), and “99” (2019). He made his directorial debut with the movie, ‘Kool…Sakkath Hot Maga’ in 2010.
