Yash is an Indian actor and singer who is famous for his work in the Kannada film industry. His Real Name is Naveen Kumar Gowda. Yash mainly works in the Kannada Cinema. He became the popular Pan-India Movie “K.G.F” (2018).

Biography

Yash was born on 8 January 1986 (Age 38 years; in 2024) in Buvanahalli, Hassan District, Karnataka. He studied at the Mahajana High School, Mysore, Karnataka. After studies, he developed an interest in acting and joined the Benaka drama troupe, established by dramatist B. V. Karanth.

He began his career in tv serial Nanda Gokula, which is telecasted in ETV Kannada. He as massive fan-following within and beyond the Kannada film industry. Yash also as a talent of singing, he sung ‘Annthamma’ from the Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari (2014) and ‘Annange Love Aagide’ from the film- Masterpiece (2015).

Yash was born to a Hindu family. His father, Arun Kumar J, worked as a bus driver in Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation ( KSRTC) later Work in BMTC and his mom Pushpa is a Homemaker. He has a younger sister Nandini who married Telugu speaking person from AP state.

Yash started dating co-actress Radhika Pandit, who acted in 3 films as co-actress. They got engaged in Goa in 2016. On 9 December 2016, Yash married Radhika Pandit in a traditional style. He has a daughter named Ayra who was born on 2 December 2018 and a son named Arha who was born on 30 October 2019.

Yash started acting in tv serial Nanda Gokula. Later worked in teleserials like Malebillu and Preeti Illada Mele. He made his Flim debut in romantic drama film Moggina Manasu in 2008. He become popular with his role in the romance-drama film ‘Googly‘ and established himself as one of the top actors in the Kannada film industry. His film Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari (2014) opposite his wife Radhika Pandit became the highest-grossing Kannada cinema.

His film Kgf released in 2018, created all-time record in the Kannada film industry, with ₹250 crore collection worldwide. Kgf was a massive success in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages also.
