Sivakarthikeyan studied at the Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. He graduated with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from J. J. College of Engineering and Technology in Tiruchirappalli. He gained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same college.
