Varun was born on Sunday, 19 January 1990 (Age 32 Years; in 2022) in Kolkata. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. He completed his graduation in B.Com. in Computer Science from St Mary’s College, Yousufguda, Hyderabad.

Career
He made his debut at the age of 10 years as a child artist by playing the role of Varun in the movie “Hands Up” in the year 2000.
He made film debut in 2014 with Telugu movie Mukunda. His film Kanche which is the first-ever Indian movie about the Second World War received great positive responses. Next, he played a role in the romantic comedy film “Fidaa” (2017). which was a big blockbuster movie. In 2018, Varun Tej featured in “Tholi Prema,” which was a blockbuster movie.
In 2018 he acted in multistarrer F2 – Fun and Frustration with Venkatesh Daggubati. In 2019, he played a negative role in the action film “Gaddalakonda Ganesh.” The movie was a commercial success and established him as an actor.
He gave voice of Aladdin in Telugu version of Aladdin in 2019.
